The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igueben Local Government Area, under Rt. Hon. Ephraim Aluobhosele, has strongly dismissed reports claiming the party structure has endorsed a particular aspirant ahead of the forthcoming political contest. Reacting to the development, Rt. Hon. Aluobhosele described the claim as entirely unfounded and not reflective of any formal decision by the party leadership in Igueben. He stressed that no such endorsement was made at any recognized meeting or through any official party channel, and warned against the spread of politically sensitive misinformation. He characterized the rumor as a product of informal and unserious conversations, stating that it belongs in the category of “beer parlour discussions” with no bearing on the structured leadership of the APC in the LGA.
