Oniha of Ubiaja Emphasises Youth Empowerment as Engr. Harrison Asuelimen Doles Out Fifteen Motorbikes.

The Oniha of Ubiaja Kingdom, headquarters of Esan South- East Local Government Area of Edo State, Chief John Odigie has called on wealthy individuals in the community to come to the aid of the youths by way of empowerment to stem restiveness among them. 

The Oniha of Ubiaja made the call during this year's annual Urhuen, Ubiaja new Yam Festival which held on 31 October in his Urhuen Community in Ubiaja. 

Chief John Odigie, the Oniha of Ubiaja who is also the chairman of Esan South-East Council of Chiefs also during the well attended new yam festival recieved fifteen motorcycles donated by an illustrous son of the community, Engr. Harrison Asuelimen.
While praying for God's guidance and blessings for the donor of the motorcycles, Chief Oniha urged other Ubiaja sons to emulate the philanthropic gestures of Engr. Harrison Asuelimen so as to empower more youths in the community.

He also called for unity among all Ubiaja sons and daughters so as to be able to improve on the overall development of Ubiaja Kingdom.

"Engr. Harrison Asuelimen has been empowering youths in our community and beyond. He is by this gesture also assisting the government. I urge our wealthy sons and daughters to emulate him by using their resources to empower more youths in our community as this will promote the development of Ubiaja."

This year's Urhuen New Yam Festival which is one of the most respected heritages of Ubiaja people was celebrated amidst pomp and pageantry saw the Oniha of Ubiaja leading the others chiefs and people in the celebrations.
Chief John Odigie, the Oniha of Ubiaja and leader of Urhuen Community of Ubiaja is responsible Chief at Ubiaja and second in the hierarchy and next to the Onojie Of Ubiaja, His Royal Highness, Curtis Eidenojie 11.
