OEF Lunches Solar Borehole Project In Orakhuan Emu Community

The Orakhuan Elite Forum (OEF) in Esan South East Constituency of Edo State, has set out to tackle water challenges in the area with the launch of a solar borehole project.

Esan South East Constituency aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the Edo State House Of Assembly, Sir Clem Odegua Aziegbemi, who is also the president of OEF confirmed this during the launch of the water project recently.
Often described as a visionary leader and a community developer who cares for his people and humanity, the OEF president said in his remarks at the event that there was much need to render service to the people through good governance and quality representation.
Speaking in solidarity with', a guest at the launch, Sir Prince Lewis Osobase, encouraged the elite forum and those in authority to engage in humanitarian services to the people at home at all time in order to better their lot.

"We can't forget where we come from and the sufferings of our forefathers shouldn't remain the same in this generation", he said.

Prince Osobase, a leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives, Esan South/Esan North East Federal Constituency in Edo State, commended the effort of the forum and the commitment of its president to positively affect the lives of the people of his constituency
Meanwhile, Rt. Hon. Segius Ogun, the current member representing the federal constituency, commended Sir Aziegbemi and his team for embarking on the borehole project as a way to touche lives.

He described water as the most important drug that saves lives and strengths the health of the people.

The lawmaker urged Aziegbemi not to relent or be deterred in his vision to impact positively on his immediate society and beyond, especially by helping the poor and the needy. 
The immediate past chairman of Esan South East council, Hon Peter Aguele, also applauded OEF for the move, stressing that it has the capacity to transform the community which has been facing water problems over the years. 

He promised to support the forum to ensure it succeeds on the project.
Highlight of the occasion was the honouring of Rev. Jonathan Okoirhon, the immediate past president of OEF and other members of the forum among whom were Dr. Ragheal Oseghale, Mr. Abraham Aziegbemi, Engr. Benjamin Ujiagbe, the International Coordinator, Mrs. Osas Dickson the vice chairman and Engr. Elvis Ojiealeakhe and others Prominent sons and daughters of Orakhuans for excellence in service delivery to their community.

The event also witnessed the official declaration by Sir Aziegbemi, who in his closing remarks urged all Orakhuan sons and daughters to join OEF and be part of the effort to transform Orakhuan and Emu kingdom.

In his declaration, Sir Aziegbemi said he would tackle poverty among  rural women and make water available across the constituency, if elected as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly in 2023.

He promised periodic interaction with constituents as well as youth economic empowerment to reduce the present insecurity challenges facing the people. He also hinted that the road leading to Ella River will be made a top priority.

"Above all, I will support and work hand in hand with the executive governor of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, to move Esan South East Local Government Area forward", he assured.
