I AM IN POLITICS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE -- CHIEF (BARR) FRIDAY IBADIN

The Nigerian Nation cannot be said to be short of patriots and people of integrity despite bad leadership that has been her lot.
To redeem the ugly situation particularly the high level of insecurity, poor economy and the cost of living, the clamour for good leadership by credible people is daily gathering momentum.
In a press interview by Esanland Update Magazine and Mike Ehichioya on what motivated him into partisan politics at this time of our national history, a well known security expert who retired meritoriously, as a Commissioner of Police and who is also a double Chieftaincy titles holder and a qualified lawyer, Chief Friday Ibadin opined that according to the great philosopher, Aristotle, every human being is a political animal.
The passion to contribute his quota towards an egalitarian society and having retired as a public servant however influenced his decision among others.
On his assessment of the present situation of things in Nigeria, Chief Friday Ibadin also an astute business man, explained that the facts are there for everyone to see and expressed regrets over the situation we are experiencing today.
Speaking further, he lamented the high level of insecurity in the country, the poor economic situation, the ASUU strike, bad roads, high cost of living, epileptic power supply etc.
Chief (Barrister) Friday Ibadin, one of the political leaders of Labour Party in Edo State and whose efforts and innumerable assistance at improving the living condition of the poor and the less privileged in the society are well known and unquantifiable, explained that he pitched his political tent with the Labour Party because of the antecedents of Mr. Peter Obi, the Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections.
With the youth constituting a greater percentage of the population, Chief Ibadin believed that Nigeria presently needs a good leader to steer her away from the social, political and economic quagmire adding that Mr. Peter Obi has all it takes.
Mr. Peter Obi according to High Chief Friday Ibadin, is dynamic, mentally and physically fit, experienced matured, patriotic and visionary to give a credible leadership.
In conclusion, he appealed to Nigerians to get their PVC and be prepared to change the narrative by voting according to their conscience and only for those who have the fear of God and the people at heart.
