Emu Youth Development Association recently led by proactive and ever ready National Youth President, Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon and his team in their selfless service to the
betterment of Emu kingdom by touring round the sites of abandoned government projects over the years.
Mr President said that the purpose of visiting the abadoned govenment projects acros Emu quarters is to showcase to the Edo state government and to appeal for quick intervention
As you can see from the pictures of these deplorable Emunonkhua roads, Emu Grammar School, Emu, which was founded since 1973 and Emunonkhua Secondary School, that lack teachers, buildings and chairs over the years.
There is another abandoned health care centre at Okede-lbhiadan Deplensary Emu, which was the first health centre in Emu Kingdom over sixty years, but now abandoned, due to lack of nurses and doctors
In addition, we have Emunonkhua Clinic Centre and Orakhuan Health Care Center, that also lack nurses and doctors, but nothing has been done.
After much verification, the Emu Youth Development Association World-wide decided to bring to the notice of the government for immediate intervention to ensure that we get the desired attention and succor from Godwin Obaseki, the excutive Governor of Edo state.
All these are chanllenges the Emu sons and daughters needs to urgently come together to find ways to remedy the situation.
We want to use this medium to commend the governor for the just completed Emu Ugun to Orakhuan road, we also appreciate our beloved and a bonified sọn of Emu kingdom, Rt.Hon.Dr. Tony Aziegbemi, the present PDP state party chairman Edo state for his personal efforts made so far.
During the meeting at the office of Hon. Engr. Newton Okojie, the Commissioner, Ministry for Roads & Bridges of Edo State, stated that Hon. Aziegbemi have been putting more pressure over the Emunonkhua's bad road situation, that he will do his best to ensure the governor's approve the project before ends of his tenure, he vows.
He commended the Emu Youths the ways and manners they appeals for their urgent action to attract government attention to the deplorable and urgly Emunonkhua road condition without play card protest and road blockage that could have affected the state socio-economy drive.
That he will present the deplorable roads, dilapidated schools and health care pictures and videod clip to the government to look into, although the Governor is doing his best to achieve his agenda to make Edo great again.
He further assured Emu people to have faith, that
after the Governor's 2023 budget approval good news will come to Emu Kingdom.
The youth also narrated how the executive Governor promised the entire Emu kingdom during his second tenure campaigns at Usolo Primary School Emu, when he boldly asked the good people of Emu kingdom "what can he do for Emu people?
We the Emu people said" Emunonkhua road and electricity power which he agreed to do for us.
We are therefore calling on our amiable and personable WAKE AND SEE GOVERNOR to come to our rescue by helping to resolve the infrastructures which are in deplorable conditions in our Kingdom.
