Just in: Uromi Vigilantes Killed Fulani with AK/47, Residents Rejoicing

There was  Jubilation in  Uromi community in Esan North East local government area of Edo state this morning, when the  news of the death of one of the Fulani herdsmen who has been terrorizing the community got killed by the vigilantes after a gun battle with the terrorist group.

According to the report reaching us, the Fulani herdsmen opened fire on the vigilantes moment they sighted the rescue team advancing towards the terrorist group but were overpowered by the superior power of the vigilante who are said to be determined in their resolve to rid the community of criminal elements.

According to the source, a member of the criminal gang was gunned down while other members escaped with varying degrees of bullet wound.

It was gathered that the gunmen invaded the Amedokhian farm roads  of the National Institutes of Construction Technology Management (NICTM) as the community remains deserted.

It could be recalled that a few months ago, the kidnappers have been terrorizing the school community, Amedokhian, leading to Ugboha kingdom, meanwhile the local government chairman, Hon. Dr Kelly Inegbebor redeployed new groups of Vigilante, Police and Army monitoring the school community axis.
