Prince Amos Enabosi Build, Donated Security Guard Tower To Uromi Uromi Division.
...Bishop Okpebholo called well meaning Uromi sons and daughters to contribute their quota to beefed up the standard of security in Uromi.
This wake-up call was made in Uromi at the Nigeria Divisional Police Headquarters, Uromi where the great Prince Amos Enabosi single handedly build and donates the Security Guard Tower in memory of his late father, Prince Benjamin Enabosi.
According to Prince Amos, the donor, said that " the desire to contribute their own quota to the police in Uromi at ensuring functional safeguarding and protecting the police officers in Uromi Division, in memory of our late Pa. Patriarch father, Prince Benjamin Enabosi in Esan North East Local Government, Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria.
On behalf of his elder brother, Dr. Felix Enabosi and the entire family of Uromi kingdom, officially donated this building to the Uromi Police Division Base.
He also advised the police officers to perform their duties and disciplined, hardworking and carry-out their functions diligently.
During the commissioning of the security guard tower, the Divisional Police Officer, Uromi Division CSP. Kalu Ume Prince, welcomed the dignitaries that presence, stated that it is one thing to talk about security issues, yet another thing to work towards achieving a secure community.
He thanked God for making it possible to complete this project, and for providing a well meaning individual who deemed essential fit to put the Uromi community's safety.
CSP. Ume Prince, the Uromi Divisional Police Officer (DPO) was exceptional grateful to the donor the person of Prince Amos Enabosi who sponsored this project financially from start to finish. He has been of great help, and source of encouragement, eager to ensure that security challenges faced are being tackled without delay.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police Command, who was represented by Acp. James N. Chu, the Assistant of Commissioner of Police, Edo State, thanked Prince Amos Enabosi and his family for having the good hearts of safeguarding Uromi Police Officer's Base.
He also used the opportunity to appeal to the Uromi dynasty to do more by emulating the support of Prince Amos Enabosi to fight and eradicate crime rate in the societies.
He further explained "that the Uromi police officers in short of vehicles to tackled the criminals and kidnappers terroring in the areas, that government cannot do it alone.
He said that"he is available in his office to welcome any support of individual to boost the security network put in place in collaboration with the stakeholders and community that will reduce the crime activities in the state to a tolerable level.
He appreciates the support tremendously, wishing him a greater heights and everyone who in their own way contributes to the diligent discharge of their security duties on the job.
"We say thank you as you do more".
At the same vein, some high personalities that graced the occasion, His Royal Majesty the Ojuromi of Uromi Kingdom represented by his council of chiefs, Bishop Dr. Mathew Okpebholo, the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Edo State Command, Acp. James N. Chu, the Commandant Edo State Security Network, the Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo's, community leaders.
Also present the Uromi Youths United Association and the good people of Uromi Kingdom, to commissioned the Security Guard Tower, whose purpose, and importance cannot be over emphasized.
Monitoring is key as regards security and the guard tower provides a comprehensive view of the area, capturing near and wide view of the environment.
The first port of call of every security organization is being alert and safeguards the Base, but if the area and the base, if not safe, the officers cannot protect the people.
Bishop Dr. Okpebholo who prayed during the ceremony, encouraged the young man that God used to build this ediface Prince Amos Enabosi, the son of the soil of Uromi kingdom.
He was born and brought up in my presence following me, he is one of the young man we are seeing doing well in this town.
This is not the first one he has done, recently he builds and equipped and
commissioned ENABOSI COMPUTER/LIBRARY CENTER at the Afuda/Idigun primary school, Ebhoyi, Uromi, and he is among who are building Mopole Police Barracks in Uromi.
But, today am here to commission another new ediface build by same young ebullient public service not a politician, coming out to help Uromi community all the way from America.
That God will continue to bless him, guide his family for the good legacy of his Late father, he is emulating today.
Bishop Okpebholo commend, the Uromi local government chairman, Hon Dr. Kelly Inegbebor who is a young man doing well since he assumed into office for the betterment of Uromi people and his environs.
Dr. Okpebholo said he has been in this Uromi town for seventy four years, he has never left Uromi, but nothing has cost him not to do what is right to support his community, not how much you have, you don't need to pray hard, God is on your side, but let's support Uromi town, he said.
He appreciated the donor, Enabosi' family not to give up and continue doing the good legacy you have started, is only God can reward you.
In addition remarks, who could not hide their joy at the kind gesture of the great Enabosi family, the chiefs represented His Royal Majesty, Anslem O. Adenojie ii, mfr. the Ojuromi of Uromi kingdom at the colourful ceremony were Bishop Rev, Okpebholo prayed, and commended the Enabosi family.
The community leaders urged the great sons/daughters of Uromi to emulate the footsteps of the Enabosi' s family.
