Prince Amos Enabosi Build, Donates Security Guard Tower To Uromi Police Division.
...Bishop Okpebholo calls other well meaning Uromi sons and daughters to contribute their quota to beef up standard of security in Uromi.
Bishop Dr. Mathew Okpebholo has called on Uromi sons and daughters to emulate the good and kind hearted gestures of Prince Amos Enabosi by contributing to the Development of Uromi kingdom.
He made the call recently in Uromi at the Nigeria Divisional Police Headquarters, where Prince Amos Enabosi single handedly built and donated Security Guard Tower in memory of his late father, Prince Benjamin Enabosi.
According to the donor Prince Amos, he said that the desire to contribute his own quota to enhanced security in Uromi was to build a security guard tower which is aimed at protecting the police officers in Uromi Division, in memory of the Patriarch of the family, late Prince Benjamin Enabosi and on behalf of his elder brother, Dr. Felix Enabosi and the entire family members .
He advised the officers and men of the division to ensure discipline at all times in the discharge of their duties.
At the commissioning of the security guard tower, the Divisional Police Officer, Uromi Division CSP. Kalu Ume Prince, welcomed and thanked the dignitaries present at the event.
He thanked God for providing such an illustrious son of the soil for deeming it fit to add value to the security arrangement of the division.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) was exceptionally grateful to Prince Amos Enabosi who he said sponsored the project financially from start to finish and who, according to him, has been very supportive and of great help and encouragement.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police Command, CP Funsho Adegboye who was represented by Acp. James N. Chu, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Edo State command thanked Prince Amos Enabosi and his family for having the good heart of safeguarding Uromi Police Officer's Base through that endeavor.
He also used the opportunity to appeal to the Uromi dynasty to do more by emulating the support of Prince Amos Enabosi to fight and eradicate crime rate in the societies.
He further explained that the division was in need of vehicles to facilitate the efficient movement of officers to tackle the criminals and kidnappers terrorizing the areas, adding that government cannot do it all alone.
He said that he is available and willing to welcome and receive any support from individuals to boost the security network put in place in collaboration with the stakeholders and community dwellers that will reduce the criminal activities in the state to a tolerable level.
He used the opportunity to appreciate the support and everyone who had supported the command one way or the other and wished them in their various endeavors
"We say thank you as you do more".
Some of the high profile personalities that the occasion includes His Royal Majesty the Ojuromi of Uromi Kingdom represented by his council of chiefs, Bishop Dr. Mathew Okpebholo, the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations in Edo State Command, Acp. James N. Chu, the Commandant Edo State Security Network, the Hausa community representative, Yoruba and Igbo's, community leaders. Also present was the Uromi Youths United Association and the good people of Uromi Kingdom.
Bishop Dr. Mathew Okpebholo appreciated the donor and prayed to God to bless him adding that he was excited and happy to see that Amos Enabosi that he knew when he was born was doing exceedingly great things for the community .
According to him "this is not the first one he has done, recently he builds and equipped and
commissioned ENABOSI COMPUTER/LIBRARY CENTER at the Afuda/Idigun primary school, Ebhoyi, Uromi, and he is among those who are building Mopole Police Barracks in Uromi.
"Today, I am here to commission another new edifice built by the same young ebullient public service not a politician, coming out to help the Uromi community all the way from America.
"God will continue to bless him, guide his family for the good legacy of his Late father, he is emulating today.
Bishop Okpebholo commended the Uromi local government chairman, Hon Dr. Kelly Inegbebor who is doing well since he assumed office for the betterment of Uromi people and the environs.
Dr. Okpebholo said he has been in this Uromi town for seventy four years, and has never left Uromi, but that nothing has stopped him to do what is right to support his community adding that it is not how much one has but the will power to do what is right adding that with that right mindset one doesn't need to pray hard but that God would always be on your side. He further admonished that all hands should be on deck to support Uromi town, he said.
He appreciated the donor, Enabosi' family and encouraged them not to give up but to continue to do the good legacy they have started, adding that God will reward them.
In addition, those who could not hide their joy at the kind gesture of the great Enabosi family, were the chiefs who represented His Royal Majesty, Anslem O. Adenojie ii, mfr. the Ojuromi of Uromi kingdom at the colourful ceremony were Bishop Rev, Okpebholo prayed, and commended the Enabosi family.
The community leaders urged the great sons/daughters of Uromi to emulate the footsteps of the Enabosi' s family.
