The Emu community in Esan South East Local Government Area of Edo State regain freedom from the hoodlums since the Emu youth national president moved again on the second phase in 2019-2022 for the purpose of reducing crimes rate in Emu community and environs.
Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon the Emu Youths National President World-wide has re-strategized to tackle crimes in his hometown, like; kidnappings, armed robbery and restiveness in the community and it communities alike.
He influenced the Emu/Okhuesan Youths Solidarity Movement to support the government and the security agencies to curbing insecurity problems that has been the order of the day in our various communities across Esan South East Local Government Areas.
The president directives was to negotiate and dialogue with the nearby communities that are facing the same challenges, by clearing and expanding the express road with 10 feet's added to the roadsides for seeing far from a distance, starting from Okhuesan, Emu and Ohordua road that leads to the eastern region, part of the country Nigeria.
It also enabled the drivers, Okada riders, farmers, market women and others to be free from the hoodlums that are terrorizing the good people of Emu Kingdom and travellers within the communities.
Meanwhile, after the exercise the community leaders joined the youths of Emu and Okhuesan community to lay curses on whosoever that commits such atrocities, criminal act against the Almighty God and assessor's of the land by relating bad informations to the outsiders within the communities quarters, will be dealt with and finally expelled from the community.
The president finally commended the youths of both communities that supported this vision, the opportunity that has never happened and urges other neighboring communities in Esan south east local government and beyond to practice what they preache for the betterment of our fatherland.
That Government and the security agencies can't do it alone, without the full support of the communities, that security is everyone's responsibility and keep politics aside.
