As you mark this year’s Ukpe-Bakor Festival, may it usher in renewed peace, unity, and fruitful partnerships that will further advance the growth and prosperity of the Ewatto Kingdom and Esan at large running the traditional institute affairs.

The sons and daughters of Emu Kingdom recently joined politicians, stakeholders, and dignitaries from across Edo State and beyond to celebrate the official swearing-in of their son, Hon. Anthony Oteh, as a member of the Board of Management of Edo City Transport Services (ECTS). Following the swearing-in ceremony at the Government House, Emu youths and well-wishers warmly received Hon. Oteh and celebrated with him in high spirits, expressing pride in his well-deserved appointment. In his remarks, Hon. It was a day of celebration and pride for the Emu Youth Development Association (EYDA) worldwide as the Onojie of Emu Kingdom, His Royal Highness Promise Aidenojie Imhansemhojie, praised the exceptional leadership and accomplishments of Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon, who recently concluded his first tenure as the National President of the association on July 24, 2025. Since the establishment of EYDA in 2001, Comrade Okoirhon has made a remarkable impact on the growth and development of the association.
