This remarkable achievement was made possible through the efforts of Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon, President of the Emu Youth National Body, who facilitated the collaboration between the Prince Charles Inojie Foundation and the South African-based NGO, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

This water project, which includes the construction of industrial boreholes across various Esan communities.such as Ohordua, Ujiogba, Orowa, Ihia Ubiaja, and Emu has been a significant relief to the people, particularly in Orakhuan and Emunonkha quarters, who have long suffered from lack of access to clean water. The Emu community has emerged as one of the major beneficiaries, thanks to Comrade Kingsley’s advocacy and commitment. His influence convinced the Prince Charles Inojie Foundation to attract not one, but two industrial boreholes to the Emu Kingdom.
The borehole at Emunonkha was commissioned two months ago, while the Orakhuan project, located at the palace grounds, was officially handed over to the Onojie and community leaders during this recent event. The people of Orakhuan were overwhelmed with gratitude, as this development marks the end of many years of hardship caused by inadequate water supply.
