Edo State Senior Secondary Students Gearing for Success as SSEB Launches 2nd Term Exams

The Senior Secondary Education Board (SSEB) has kicked off the 2nd term examinations in Edo State, with Dr. Rita Otibho Erewele, Executive Chairman, assuring a smooth process. Monitoring activities began on March 23rd, focusing on compliance with exam standards.
The exams are happening thanks to Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo's initiative to scrap school levies, including exam fees, and provide free question papers and answer booklets. Dr. Erewele urges students to seize this opportunity to excel.

The SSEB Chairman's visit to schools like Idia College and Uselu Secondary was met with enthusiasm. Students and principals praised the Governor's vision and Dr. Erewele's efforts to drive educational excellence.

"This is a great opportunity for us, and we're grateful to Governor Okpebholo for investing in our future," students said.

The monitoring exercise runs until March 27th, 2026.

Supervisors include Alhaji Yusuf Bako, Honourable Princess Charity Osifo, Mr. Godfrey Ejiya Okhiulu, Mrs Mabel Oboigba, and Mrs. Mabel Ojiefor.
