BISHOP DR. ANTHONY OKOSUN RALLIES IDUMOZA COMMUNITY FOR TINUBU, OKPEBHOLO, AND APC IN 2027 -By Esanland Update Magazine online

It was a historic day in Idumoza Community, Uromi, Edo State, as Archbishop Dr. Anthony Okosun, a renowned clergyman, political advocate, and former Chairman of Esan North-East LGA, convened a strategic meeting with leaders of the various clans of Idumoza at the Village Square.

The meeting, which doubled as a political rally, was aimed at mobilizing Idumoza, Ward II, Uromi to embrace the All Progressives Congress, APC, and to deliver maximum votes for the Renewed Hope Agenda of Governor Monday Okpebholo, Akpakomiza 2. 5 million votes for President Ahmed Bola Tinubu second tenure election, 2027.
Addressing the gathering as Guest of Honour, Archbishop Okosun appealed to the people of Idumoza to vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, Senator Joseph Ikpea,for Edo Central Senatorial District, Hon. Prince Odianonsen Okojie, for Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Maria Omozele Ogbidi-Edekor and Hon. Barr. Addeh Isibor in the Edo State House of Assembly members representing the Esan North East Local Government Constituecies I&II in Esan North East Local Government, Uromi, Edo State, Nigeria, January 2027 general elections.
He stated that he has set up a strategic plan to deliver 100% votes for the  candidates and to make Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo Akpakomiza proud by contributing to the target of 2.5 million votes for President Tinubu.
“This will rebuild trust with our Governor and strengthen our cordial relationship to attract more development to Edo State and Esanland in particular. It will also further the relationship with our sons and daughter, members representing Agbazilo Esan Nort/ South East in the Edo State and  Federal House of Assembly".
Archbishop Okosun reminded the community of the legacies of Esan leaders like Chief Tony Anenih, Prof. Ambrose Alli, Admirer Augustus Aikhomu and others who brought development through political influence. He urged the people to unite with one voice to support Governor Okpebholo, whom he described as the son Esanland has waited for over 25 years of democracy.
“Politics is about development. We must stay close to the Governor, Senator, and House of Assembly members, and deliver our votes so we can boldly present our scorecard and attract projects to our wards, LGA, state, and federal level,” he added.
The meeting also resolved to appeal to the Governor to urgently address the deplorable state of the Idumoza-Idumane-Error road, which the community described as unmotorable.
The people unanimously agreed to vote 100% APC in the forthcoming elections. Many community leaders, women, and youths were also convinced to join APC to ensure Ward II in Uromi delivers the highest votes. 
In appreciation, the community nominated and installed Archbishop Dr. Anthony Okosun as President of the Idumoza Development Association.
