ESAN PASTORS HOLD POWERFUL PRAYER SESSION FOR GOVERNOR AKPAKOMUZA, EDO STATE- Archbishop Okosun Ministers as Guest of Honour and Guest Preacher
EKPMOMA, EDO STATE, NIGERIA – Clergy men and women under the umbrella of All Esan Indigenous Gospel Ministers Association on Tuesday, 18th August 2026 held a powerful prayer session for Governor Monday Okpebholo, "Akpakomuza", Esanland, Edo State and Nigeria at large.
The prayer meeting, with the theme "Divine Blessings, Prosperity and Protection for our Governor Akpakomuza, Esanland, Edo State and Nigeria at Large" was held at World Harvest for Christ, Ekpoma.
The International President of the Association, Archbishop Dr. Andrew Iyare, hosted the Association’s Prayer Band in his church. The Pentecostal Archbishop of Esanland and Patron of the Association, Archbishop Dr. Anthony Okosun, was the Guest of Honour and Guest Preacher.
Speaking at the event, Clerics said the sole aim of the prayer meeting was to seek God’s face for the success of the Governor and the state.
"We are praying for God to bless, protect and secure Akpakomuza as Governor for 8 years. Edo South spent 8 years, Edo North spent 8 years, and by the grace of God, Edo Central will also spend 8 years," one of the leaders declared.
The house also prayed to God to grant Governor Akpakomuza the grace and strength to fulfill the promises he made during the January election.
The session ended with declarations of prosperity, peace, and divine protection upon the Governor, Esanland, Edo State, and Nigeria.
