SIMPLE ADVICE AND SIMPLE TRUTH TO HON MARCUS ONOBUN

Dear Marcus Onobun, if no one is close to you to advise you or bold enough to do so, I will do that for the sake of your political future, so you might grow.
Just early in the morning today, I had an opportunity to talk about you while discussing about Politics in some parts of Esanland. And in that discussion, I talked about your desperation to always be in charge, I talked about your ambition to have a standing structure in Esan West and beyond even while you met so many structures including those of which are your supposed leaders in Esan West. As God could have it, in less than 8 hours after such discussion, the news of Hon Frank Okiye's impeachment broke out and I was well vindicated. So, while it seemed I knew what was going to happen, I was not very much surprised that it came from your end. Personally, I have always seen you as someone who wants to be in charge of everything and everywhere including your supposed leaders. I have always seen you as one who will always want to outsmart even your masters or leaders.
I do not want to call you a perpetual betrayal, I do not want you to be seen as a known betrayal because it will not be good for your political career. But my brother, this is not the first time you are doing this, though no one is talking about it today and focusing only on late Chief Tony Anenih, because of political gains, you betrayed Osunbor, Esan West and the entire Esanland many years ago by going to testify against him in Court in the case between Adams Oshiomhole and the former. It would not be wrong for anyone to say therefore that you rose to political limelight through the politics of betrayal. In the last political fight, many also thought you can never betray Adams Oshiomhole whose back you rose to this limelight while playing your politics of betrayal in his favour.
Today, you have again betrayed your own friend and brother who from many photographs many could have easily conclude that he took you as his own brother and trust you with many things. I say again my brother, do not let Edo people know you as a betrayal for this will not help your political career in anyway. People might ignorantly be clapping for you now, but I beg you not to let them clap you into doom for they are after their stomach and self benefit in your hands.
To some persons, THIS IS IS POLITICS AND and IT IS ALL ABOUT INTEREST. Yes, you are right, but at the same time, you should also understand that at some point in our politics, we should allow morality have its way and at least, maintain some dignity while we play our Politics. Just in case you do not know, some of us who has not risen to any political height as Marcus and who can not boast of Millions or even N200,000 to N500,000, because of Integrity, Dignity, love for our people and so many other positive considerations, denied calls and lobby that would have attracted such amount of money and even more to the range of 5 to 10 million naira for ourselves in the last political fight.
If therefore we were able to do the above in the midst of lack, then tagging everything, including immorality, betrayal, selfishness, greediness and highhandedness displayed today as POLITICS, makes it very simple to say that we still have a long way to go in the pursuit for Unity as a tribe and in the desire for Good Governance as a Nation.
As for those rejoicing within Ekpoma, to me, they are doing so either out of ignorance or sentiments that do not make sense. But let it be known that this has nothing to do with Ekpoma and Uromi, no, it is simply the selfishness of an individual or a few, for majority of the leaders in Esan West, to me, did not send Hon Marcus Onobun the task of today, except maybe a very few, who may not even be aware that they are also digging their grave with the said Hon Marcus, should he not change from this negative political culture of his. I will not be surprised to see the name of Hon Marcus in different places in 2024 for Governorship even when there are many far more qualified personalities in Esan West who are suppose to be his leaders that should have ordinarily have him lye low for them to fly, that is Marcus for you, that is his nature and if among the very few who may be supporting his act of today there is one having ambition for 2024, he or she will live to tell the story.
Some persons in Uromi who may have played or have been playing a key role since last year to see Okiye removed even when they are not in the House of Assembly to be so much interested in it, may be happy I did not talk about them, thinking nobody knows. You see, I have personally decided not to be talking about your atrocities recently just for the sake of unity, not that I am exhausted or has nothing to say about you, but as you continue to disgrace yourself thinking that you are smart, we will wait patiently for you to dance naked one day. And as for Emmanuel Okoduwa, you are on your own my brother.
