Emu Youths Honour The Onojie in Recognition of the First Tenure of the National Youth President, Zaiki Commends Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon for His Outstanding Leadership and Service to Emu Kingdom

It was a day of celebration and pride for the Emu Youth Development Association (EYDA) worldwide as the Onojie of Emu Kingdom, His Royal Highness Promise Aidenojie Imhansemhojie, praised the exceptional leadership and accomplishments of Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon, who recently concluded his first tenure as the National President of the association on July 24, 2025.
Since the establishment of EYDA in 2001, Comrade Okoirhon has made a remarkable impact on the growth and development of the association. Under his leadership, the organization has experienced unprecedented progress, both structurally and in terms of youth empowerment.
On July 20, 2025, at the association's Benin branch headquarters in Edo State, Comrade Okoirhon and his cabinet formally presented a comprehensive report of their achievements during his first tenure, in accordance with the association’s constitution.

The report detailed various initiatives that elevated the influence and inclusivity of Emu youths worldwide.
Among his notable achievements were:
* Initiating and overseeing the construction of the Emu Youth Event Centre/Town Hall (currently ongoing).
* Supervising the construction of the bridge linking Emunonkha Obodogu to Issele-Uku in Delta State, with support from Mr. Moses Ehigiator.
* Facilitating the provision of two industrial boreholes—one at Emunonkha Health Centre (recently commissioned) and another at the Palace Grounds in Eguare-Orakhuan Emu. This clean water project was made possible in partnership with the Prince Charles Inojie Foundation and a South African NGO and is slated for commissioning soon.Beyond infrastructure, Mr. President fostered leadership development among the youths, increased the association’s membership, and advocated for youth interests in multiple forums, ensuring every voice was heard and valued.
During the presentation, Hon. (Arch.) Lucky Imhanmoukor, Treasurer of EYDA, commended Comrade Okoirhon’s performance:
“I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation and admiration for his outstanding leadership and dedication to our community's youths during his first tenure. Working closely with him, I witnessed his visionary leadership, uniting people, and implementing innovative fundraising and development strategies that have built stronger community ties.”
Following deliberations, the house unanimously dissolved the completed first tenure and appointed Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon as Acting National President pending the next general election. Members interested in contesting were encouraged to comply with the association’s constitution.

A Historic Visit to the Palace
As part of this historic moment, the Emu Youth Development Association paid a visit to His Royal Highness Promise Aidenojie Imhansemhojie, the Onojie of Emu Kingdom, alongside his council of chiefs. 
The Onojie warmly welcomed the youths and offered prayers for their continued success, especially in strengthening the community and enhancing the Emu security network to curb local criminal activities.
The Onojie lauded Comrade Okoirhon’s immense contributions to the palace building project, addressing insecurity, and influencing the clean water provision projects in Emunonkha and the Palace Grounds.
"Kingsley is more than just a youth president,” the Onojie said. 
“He has fostered unity among our leaders and youth, and has greatly contributed to the success of our annual festival ceremonies since assuming office.”
The monarch further encouraged all members of EYDA to emulate the president’s development-driven leadership style.
Chief John Anon, the Oniha of Emu Kingdom, described Mr. Okoirhon as "the ODALO of Emu Youths," praising his brilliance, boldness, and selfless service:
“I have seen how he personally intervened in resolving youth issues, insecurity situations funded community efforts that boasted the vigilantes security network and advocated for women’s health. He has shown exceptional commitment with his personal resources.”
 President dragged Levant Construction Company to Government House to correct the errors made, but later completed  after mucTheh actions taken, the Obolo to Ohordua Erosion control  in 2021.
Chief Monday Okoemu, the Ekpen of Emu Kingdom, also expressed gratitude to the Onojie and the visiting youths. He highlighted that Comrade Okoirhon’s tenure was free of controversies and was marked by loyalty, urban experience, and integrity.
“He has made a difference unlike previous regimes. We urge all youths to support his second tenure so he can complete the ongoing projects that will bring more unity and development to our community.”
Mr. Emmanuel Ukato, the Benin Branch Chairman, thanked the Onojie and the chiefs for their guidance and assured them that the election process would follow the association's constitution.
Presidential Response and Closing Remarks
In his closing remarks, Comrade Kingsley Okoirhon expressed sincere gratitude to the Onojie, the chiefs, and the youth members for their unwavering support throughout his first tenure—especially during difficult times.
“May God continue to bless you all. Your recognition today motivates me and my family to do more for our people. I sincerely apologize to anyone I may have offended and also forgive those who have wronged me. Let us move forward in unity.”
He concluded by reaffirming his commitment to the growth and development of Emu Kingdom.
