Okosodo Foundation Brings Clean Water to Ubierumu Community, Uromi.

In a historic moment, the Okosodo Foundation has gifted the Idisaba-Ubierumu community in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area, Edo State, a life-changing gift: their first-ever solar-powered borehole. The December 24, 2025, commissioning ceremony brought together royalty, dignitaries, and community members to celebrate this milestone achievement.

Chief Okosodo Okoh, the Eni of Uromi Kingdom and founder of the Okosodo Foundation, spearheaded this initiative to address the community's long-standing water scarcity issue. 
During the commissioning, His Royal Majesty, Anselm Eidenojie II, Ojuromi of Uromi Kingdom, officially commissioned the project, praising Chief Okosodo Okoh and his family for their generosity.
"This multi-million naira project will alleviate the hardship faced by our people," the royal father said. "We urge the community to cherish this gift and attract more development."

Chief Okosodo Okoh, a renowned business leader, emphasized the importance of unity and progress. "Uromi is a blessed community, and I implore our leaders to create an environment where our children can thrive, free from wickedness and jealousy." He said that the water project is to save his people from difficulties experienced in getting clean good water provision, while thanking the Ojuromi of Uromi Kingdom and other Enijies that makes it possible, he advised the good people to make good use water facilities, that would make others from home to develop the community.

The event honored Chief Dr. Franklin Owi Okosodo, the Omozoya of Ekpoma Kingdom, son of Chief Okosodo Okoh, for his philanthropic efforts. 
The Association of Esan Journalists Worldwide (AEJW) presented the merit award, recognizing Dr. Okosodo's impact in oil and gas, youth empowerment, and community upliftment.

The Okosodo Foundation's vision is clear: to transform lives and inspire positive change. The event drew notable attendees, including traditional rulers, community leaders, and dignitaries.
During the reception, the Association of Esan Journalists Worldwide (AEJW) honourd Chief Dr. Franklin Okosodo, the Omozoya of Ekpoma Kingdom and Managing Director of a renowned oil and gas industry servicing company. The  son of chief Okosodo Okoh, the Eni of Uromi Kingdom, for his philanthropic activities across Nigeria.
