HON. PARAGON UNITE IGUEBEN APC STAKEHOLDERS BEHIND AYEMERE, ESIEGBE, IKPEA AHEAD OF PRIMARIES
Just recently, Igueben Politics, Edo State– Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Igueben Local Government Area have agreed to work together in support of the party’s candidates ahead of the APC primaries
The decision was reached during a reconciliation meeting hosted by Hon. Engr. Endurance Azamegbe, popularly known as “Paragon,” the APC chairmanship candidate for Igueben LGA. The meeting, held at Paragon Hotels in Ebelle community brought together ward leaders, former officeholders, traditional rulers, youth, and women groups.

Hon. Engr. Obehi Ayemere– APC candidate for Igueben State House of Assembly
Hon. Sir (Dr.) Lucky Esiegbe* – APC candidate for the House of Representatives
Senator (Dr.) Joseph Ugiagbe Ikpea APC candidate for Edo Central Senatorial District
Hon. Azamegbe said the move was in line with the directive of Governor Monday Okpebholo and reflects the party’s commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections. That as the Chairman of Renewed hope Agenda in Edo central senatorial district, he thanked the party leadership for nominating him as chairmanship candidate of Igueben Local Government Council, Igueben Edo State and pledged to support party leaders and the APC at all levels.
'This decision is a demonstration of loyalty, sacrifice, and dedication to the collective interest of the party and the people of Igueben. Our focus is unity, stability, and cooperation within the APC to deliver results for Edo State,” he said.
As the Leaders emphasize reconciliation and discipline, high Chief Ekpen I of Igueben Kingdom, who represented the Igueben APC leader Hon. Ephraim Aluobhosele commended Azamegbe for providing leadership at a critical time. He urged aggrieved members to express their views peacefully and abide by the governor’s directive.
Hon. Imoisili, former two time Igueben LGA chairman, said politics should not be a “do-or-die” affair. He noted that while he had supported another aspirant, he would respect the leaders’ decision and called on others to do the same, that it's not a permanent position, let peace reinstall in our great party in Igueben.
Chief C.S. Okhuegbe, the Ojoemen of Ekpoma Kingdom, welcomed the reconciliation effort and said unity was necessary for development in Igueben. He cautioned against endorsing candidates without carrying members along, that will bring disunity and divisions to the party.
Speakers at the meeting, the host, Engr. Paragon focus on Party the need to strengthen the APC structure in Igueben ahead of the 2027 general elections, to avoid defection to the other political parties They called on delegates, youth, women groups, and party faithful to remain united and peaceful that will bring more development to the Igueben Constituecy.
In his remarks about his relationship with the Party leaders both in national and state levels that will attract development to Igueben Constituecy, meeting concluded with stakeholders agreeing to follow the governor’s directive and work towards delivering victory for the APC in the primaries and subsequent elections.
